‘Real Housewives’ Kim Richards ‘Upbeat’ After Rehab, Still Not Speaking To Kyle

Former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Kim Richards is out of rehab and reportedly feeling “upbeat.” According to a new report, the one-time reality star is doing well, but also feeling a bit stressed when it comes to her financial state.

On July 20, a source revealed the following to E! News.

“Kim is upbeat, but uncertain about her future. Since leaving rehab, she’s been staying with Kathy and Rick [Hilton]. But she needs to find her own place to live soon. Financially, she’s stressed. Without her Real Housewives of Beverly Hills salary, she’s going to have to figure something out. There have been small roles here and there, but she needs money.”

Although there have been reports, claiming Richards would not be featured on the upcoming sixth season of the Real Housewives in any capacity, E! News‘ claimed she “may return for a cameo, or a few appearances, but not as a full-time series regular.”

Richards has been starring on the show since it began years ago, and for the entirety of her reality run, she was featured in a full-time role.

As for the former Real Housewives star’s relationship with her sister, Kyle, the source claimed the two women are still estranged. Throughout Season 5 of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Kim and Kyle were at odds over Kim’s relationship with Brandi Glanville, and Kyle’s decision to sell their late mother’s Palm Springs, California, home — which Kim alleged was stolen from her (Kyle denies any such thing).

As the Inquisitr previously reported, Richards was recently accused of failing to attend outpatient care. Earlier this month, a source told Radar Online the Real Housewives star had failed to take the necessary steps to ensure her long-term sobriety, and had no plans of returning to rehab.

“[Kim Richards] has not been back to the center and has not been doing her outpatient therapy. She has already missed four sessions.

The rehab program directors are just assuming that [Kim Richards] isn’t returning to treatment there, and no one is going to chase her down and try to force it on her. She did not get along with hardly anyone there to begin with and when she left she had not even really started her intended program, which was at least three months.”

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 6 is currently in production and will likely premiere on Bravo later this year.
