Amy Schumer Is Aware She Often Puts Her Foot In Her Mouth


Amy Schumer is aware of the sometimes offensive things she says. The Trainwreck star is sometimes to be as blunt as she comes across on screen. Amy admitted during her infamous GQ magazine interview that she’s afraid that she’ll come across the wrong person.

“I truly feel that I’m getting a lot of attention right now and it’s just a ticking time bomb. Like, I wonder what the thing is going to be that will make people want to burn me at stake. There’s no way to control it. I think it will be really arbitrary and a misunderstanding. But yeah, I’m really enjoying the love right now.”

As previously reported via the Inquisitr, Amy Schumer also admitted that being a woman in Hollywood “f***ing sucks” sometimes. Amy’s recent interview is an indicator is that she’s not afraid to put it out there.

That’s not going to stop Schumer from tackling tough topics like racism, rapists, and sexism. She knows she has a platform and is willing to talk about a wide variety of topics, including politics.

“I know inevitably I’ll get more political, just as an adult with changing interests, which is good – no one wants to hear me talk about who I f***ed or whatever for another twenty years.”

Amy Schumer has been getting slammed for her racy GQ cover and for her raunchy new comedy, Trainwreck. According to the 34-year-old, she’s just putting it all out there and poking fun at herself.

“I’m putting my dirty laundry out there, and I don’t want be around people who pretend they don’t have any.”

The comedian was asked about the racy Star Wars-inspired photo shoot during her Australian radio interview on Monday. Schumer revealed that it was her idea to pose topless alongside R2-D2 and C-3PO. The photo shoot showed Schumer and the robots smoking together in bed.

“I would do it again, right now. And I really did have sex with them.”

It’s Amy Schumer’s world and everyone is just living in it right now. Her debut movie, Trainwreck, had a successful weekend at the box office. Schumer’s flick raked in $30 million, making it one of the top movies of the summer. It also came in close to Pixar’s Minions.
