Jamie Lee Curtis succeeded in an incognito act that, for Street Fighter fans, outdid even her best acting gig. It took just one weekend for Jamie to rise to the top of the celebrity game tournament list by dressing up as Vega so that she could, along with Curtis’ family, experience the Evolution Championship Series, called EVO, reported Entertainment Weekly.

Costumed so that she could be incognito, Jamie Lee later spilled the scoop on Twitter. Curtis also revealed that Christopher Guest, her husband, was also a cosplayer.

“Grad trip to @evo2k. 2 stay incognito was Vega who wears a mask. @StreetFighter family. DJ, Dr. Bosconovich, Makoto,” she posted.

Jamie Lee’s son wasn’t the only reason that the family went to EVO, famed as the world’s biggest fighting game tournament, though. In addition to providing him with a special grad trip, Curtis revealed that she’s a feisty fan as well.

“I play Street Fighter more than you will ever know,” she revealed. “I’m that person. I spend a lot of time playing Street Fighter. I play a lot of Street Fighter.”

In addition to succeeding in pulling off her incognito act, Jamie Lee wowed the crowds in her first appearance at Comic-Con, reported ABC News.

Joining Ryan Murphy during a panel that focused both on American Horror Story and Scream Queens, Curtis joked about her role as a spokeswoman for yogurt company Activia in answering the question about why she had not appeared at Comic-Con before.

“I’ve been selling yogurt that makes you (expletive),” she laughed.

Murphy revealed that he only wanted to make Scream Queens if he could persuade Jamie Lee to join the cast. Curtis’s role of Cathy Munsch gives her chance to play a feisty college administrator.

“If you’re going to hire Jamie Lee Curtis, you want to see her kicking (expletive) and fighting back,” pointed out Ryan. “We’re actually writing a scene now where she’s fighting three killers.”

As the Inquisitr reported, Emma Roberts and Lea Michele also will star in Scream Queens, which is a 15-hour horror-comedy anthology series. The show takes place on a college campus experiencing a mysterious series of scary murders? Emma provided a sneak peek.

“The show itself is more comedy. I literally was crying laughing when Ryan [Murphy] was telling me about it, and telling me some jokes on it.”

And the actress offered her own predictions.

“It [is] going to be a lot of girls, and it reminds me of Coven in a way that it is just like having all that female energy on set,” Emma declared.
