‘Mrs. Happy Homemaker’ Food Blogger Crystal Faulkner: 33-Year-Old Husband’s Cause Of Death Likely Heart Failure

The food blogger known as Mrs. Happy Homemaker has suffered a loss with the death of her 33-year-old husband, as reported by Fox 8. According to the Mrs. Happy Homemaker “about me” page, Crystal Faulkner is a writer who hails from North Carolina and blogs a lot about Southern food. Most of the blog posts on the Mrs. Happy Homemaker website that mention Crystal’s husband only refer to him as “my husband” instead of by name, such as in the viral post that speaks about his death.

“As many of you may already know, my family has suffered the unspeakable.”

On the Mrs. Happy Homemaker Facebook page, Faulkner writes about heart failure being a potential cause of her husband’s sudden death, even though she states that autopsy reports haven’t confirmed that cause of death yet.

“I thank you for all the support. As my close friends know, my husband had a lot of medical issues but this was totally unexpected. We suspect it was heart failure that took him from us, but the autopsy has not come back yet. I appreciate your continued prayers for myself & most importantly for our 3 children.”

Other updates on the Mrs. Happy Homemaker Facebook page were posted by a writer named Christy, who updated Crystal’s readers about her situation in the wake of the father of three’s death.

“She is managing as best she can and gave me this statement to put up on the website. She repeatedly asked that I thank you all of your continued love, prayers, and support. The memorial service is today [Saturday, July 18].”

In her own writings from past Mrs. Happy Homemaker blog entries, Crystal wrote about medical conditions both she and her husband dealt with — and the types of products, such as Biofreeze and a certain back support item, that helped them.

“Between my husband & I – we deal with conditions such as trauma induced scoliosis, spina bifida occulta, degenerative disc disease, etc. We’ve tried many products between us & here’s the 2 products that actually WORK!”

However, it’s the Mrs. Happy Homemaker blog post titled “A Statement From Crystal,” published on July 18, 2015, by Mrs. Happy Homemaker that alerted fans of her blog to the sad news of her husband’s death, and the fact that their children found him.

“My husband has passed away unexpectedly at the tender age of 33. Not only was he my husband, but he was the father of our beautiful 3 children. We are devastated to say the very least & this is the hardest thing we’ve ever been though. I’m asking for lots of prayers for my family right now. I was out of town when this happened, and my poor children are the one who found their father’s body. They are having such a hard time with having to experience that, so I ask for even harder prayers for my babies.”

Faulkner’s post pointed to how much bloggers and writers can become part of a community that sometimes seems as close as family.

“Thank you to everyone for your love, support, & continued prayers. And to the blogging community who have rallied behind me to help keep my blog alive during my extended absence as we try to cope, I can’t express my gratitude. This blog is my family’s only income & it’s how I provide for my 3 babies. I just can’t express into words how grateful I am for each & every one of you.”

For those readers who’ve reached out, wondering how to help the Mrs. Happy Homemaker family in their time of sadness, the writer suggested sharing recipes from the Mrs. Happy Homemaker website all across the web and social media platforms in order to help keep the site’s traffic up and the blog alive during Crystal’s absence. They are also considering setting up a GoFundMe account to help the Mrs. Happy Homemaker family.

As reported by the Inquisitr, another tragic death that hit the news on Sunday was the drowning death of a 21-year-old at Demi Moore’s home.
