Death By Testicles: Woman Squeezes Family Jewels In Fight, Man Dies

Last week, a 42-year-old man was killed in China when a woman squeezed his testicles during a fight over a parking space.

The Huffington Post reports that the unidentified 41-year-old woman attempted to park her scooter in front of a store in China’s Haiku City in the Hainan Province. A fight ensued after the store owner refused to let the woman park her scooter. The woman, her husband, and her brother attacked the store owner, and at one point the woman grabbed the man’s testicles and squeezed until he collapsed.

The man was taken to the hospital for treatment but died shortly after arrival.

Dr. Irwin Goldstein, urologist and San Diego Sexual Medicine’s director, told Gizmodo that it is indeed possible to die from extreme testicular pain.

Goldstein said:

“The testicles are exquisitely sensitive to touch and there is a huge release of adrenalin when there is excessive force applied to these organs. Testicular pain is referred to the lower abdomen, mesenteric plexus, and causes men to stop abruptly what they are doing, lie on the ground, close their eyes and bend their knees. A heart attack could certainly result from severe testicular pain from squeezing.”

The exact cause of death is unclear. Is testicular strangulation a medical term?
