Kim Kardashian’s Surprising Response To Fake Baby Bump Rumors

Kim Kardashian has shared her thoughts about the rumors that she’s faking her second pregnancy, and it turns out that the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star actually finds them pretty flattering.

According to E! News, Kim Kardashian recently explained why she “loved” a wacky rumor about her pregnancy that other stars might find pretty upsetting. A few weeks ago, a notorious webloid claimed that the reality show star was rocking a fake baby bump in an effort to convince people that she was still capable of getting pregnant after months of struggling to conceive.

RumorFix reports that the fake bump story was dreamed up by the same website of ill repute that tried to claim that Beyonce was faking her 2011 pregnancy. According to Gossip Cop, this website has continued to insist that Beyonce didn’t actually give birth to Blue Ivy. However, Kim Kardashian didn’t find her own prosthetic baby bump rumors flattering because they gave her something in common with Beyonce — the tweet below explains why the lie put a smile on Kim’s face.

As you can see, the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star was simply happy that she managed to avoid gaining a lot of weight early on during her pregnancy. However, she wasn’t happy when the fake bump/surrogate rumors first surfaced — she took to Twitter to rant about her occupied womb. A surrogate storyline would likely give Keeping Up With the Kardashians a little ratings boost, so why would Kim lie about such a thing?

As the Inquisitr previously reported, Kim Kardashian has been very open about her struggle to get pregnant. Back in January, Kim revealed that she wanted “another baby so bad,” but it just wasn’t happening. She also revealed why her first pregnancy taught her not to give up hope.

“A few years ago I was told I could never get pregnant. Three different doctors told me the same thing, which is why I wanted to have my eggs frozen. I was just about to do that when I found out I was pregnant with North.”

Kim Kardashian’s due date is November 2, and she and Kanye West are looking forward to introducing North to her baby brother. However, North West doesn’t see Kim’s pregnancy as anything extraordinary because she doesn’t understand how making babies work.

“I say there’s a baby in my belly,” Kim Kardashian told E! News. “Now she just thinks everyone has a baby in their belly.” At least North West doesn’t believe that all expectant famous women are faking their pregnancies.
