New ‘Star Wars VII’ Leaks: New Characters, LEGO Sets, And Possible ‘The Raid’ Trio
New Star Wars VII: The Force Awakens characters surface after images of the Millennium Falcon LEGO sets leaked around the web this week, a previous Inquisitr article reports.
While Star Wars fans impatiently hold on to their seats for the coming of Star Wars VII: The Force Awakens in December, more and more leaks and teasers of the Star Wars VII universe surround the internet. Some of the latest buzz surrounding Star Wars VII: The Force Awakens is the addition of new characters to the iconic franchise.
Tasu Leech and a Kanjiklub Gang Member are the two names that are involved in this Star Wars VII leak, and this stemmed from the recent leak of the Millennium Falcon LEGO sets featuring several Star Wars VII characters.
Earlier this week, FBTB released photos of two new LEGO Star Wars sets based on the upcoming Star Wars VII: The Force Awakens movie: Poe’s X-Wing fighter and the Millennium Falcon. Included in the leaked image of the Millennium Falcon Star Wars LEGO set are the two new characters in question, Tasu Leech and Kanjiklub Gang Member. As illustrated in the Millennium Falcon Star Wars LEGO set box, Tasu Leech and Kanjiklub Gang Member stands beside an aged Han Solo, Chewbacca, Finn, BB8, and Rey. VC Post writes that Tasu Leech is seen donning a beard and a cool long-haired hairstyle and carrying what seems to be a blaster, while the Kanjiklub Gang Member is designed with a helmet, a rather daring eyepatch, and a rifle.
As of writing, FBTB was already requested to take down the photos of the leaked LEGO Star Wars sets, thus, the photos couldn’t be found on their site anymore. However, news sites everywhere have already grabbed the leaked Star Wars LEGO sets photos, proving the appearance of Tasu Leech and Kanjiklub Gang Member.
In another news, Twitch Film also reports that actors from The Raid are set to appear on the Star Wars VII movie.
Twitch has learned that a key trio of performers from Gareth Evans’ The Raid and The Raid 2 – leading man Iko Uwais, Mad Dog / Prakoso actor Yayan Ruhian and The Raid 2 finale fighter Cecep Arif Rahman, credited simply as The Assassin – will all appear in JJ Abrams’ upcoming Star Wars: Episode 7 – The Force Awakens. We have no word yet on what their characters may be, which side of the good guy / bad guy line they fall upon or whether any will survive through until the subsequent pictures…”
Star Wars VII director JJ Abrams has been very tight about releasing content regarding the upcoming Star Wars VII: The Force Awakens movie, but it seems that his security scheme is getting continuously breached as more and more Star Wars VII leaks hit the internet.
Twitch Film writes that even at the San Diego Comic-Con, Star Wars fans were heard clamoring for more Asian characters to star in the upcoming Star Wars VII: The Force Awakens. Could this Asian-looking Tasu Leech and the trio from The Raid be the answer to their demands?
Star Wars VII: The Force Awakens will debut on December 18 this year.
