Britney Spears Still Turning Heads And Searching For Another K-Fed?

Britney Spears has returned to the public eye in style, all while looking fierce and not toning down the revealing attire she’s known for. As the Inquisitr recently reported, the 33-year-old was a show-stopper at the Espy Awards this week, and although she has another breakup on record — this time from Charlie Ebersol — Brit seems set to make another comeback on the hit list and is full steam ahead with her Vegas residency.

Although Britney reportedly parted on good terms with Ebersol and is content with her single-status situation, sources close to the pop princess have piped up and shared that Britney is reportedly actually hung up on finding another Kevin Federline. The source chatted openly with OK! Magazine.

“[Britney] wants what she had with Kevin in the early days. She loved the fact she could mold him a certain way; he wasn’t in the business; he depended on her and she called the shots with the finances and in public.”

As Music News reminds, Spears and Federline had a very public whirlwind romance before marrying in 2004. The source adds that Brit is definitely a “romantic” who wants that thrill she had when she and Kevin first began their relationship. Spears met Federline when he was on her dance troop for her Slave tour.

Although Spears apparently enjoys running the relationship when it comes to the world of showbiz, the insider shares that Britney is still an old-fashioned girl in her love life.

“Behind closed doors she was a submissive, southern girl with her strong husband calling the shots and guiding her emotionally.”

Referred to as an “incurable romantic” by her friends, Spears has found it difficult to make her dream of a true, loving relationship a reality due to her worldwide success. It seems as though in many ways Britney simply wishes she had a more simple life to find her soulmate.

“She’s even considered online dating under an alias,” the source added.

After Spears divorced K-Fed in 2007, she has dated a number of men and was almost remarried, yet the engagement to Jason Trawick after a four-year relationship was called off in 2013. Federline has since remarried and remains a part of his two sons lives, Sean Preston and Jayden James, whom he fathered during his marriage to Spears.

Spears is keeping her head up along with her hopes for finding her soulmate, but perhaps a repeat K-Fed isn’t the best fit for the songstress.
