Angry Grandpa’s Surprise: YouTube Star Sobs After Son Gifts Him A Home [Video]

“Angry Grandpa’s” surprise was almost more than he could bare.

The older gentleman has become an internet sensation after posting hundreds of videos to YouTube. His YouTube channel, which currently has over 1.3 million followers, features videos of Charles Green, the “Angry Grandpa,” in fits of rage as his son Michael continuously pulls pranks on him.

However, Michael’s latest prank wasn’t one that Green could be mad at, not even a little bit. For the past several months, Michael and his girlfriend had been taking Charles along with them to search for a house, presumably for them. However, what Charles didn’t know was that they were actually house hunting for him.

“For the past few months, Bridgette and I have been planning a huge prank on Angry Grandpa and today’s the day we’re going to pull it off,” Michael said at the start of a video that has been viewed more than a million times.

“We’ve been taking my dad house hunting with us under the pretenses that he’s looking for a house for me and Bridgette,” Michael continued. “The only problem is, he’s been looking for his own house.”

In the video, Michael takes Charles to the home they had decided on. Charles immediately starts pointing out the things he likes about the home as Michael takes him room to room.

“Michael, I like this. This is nice,” Charles said. “This is a really nice house. Look how big these rooms are, Mike! Man, you are so lucky.”

“Put me a bed in here so I can spend the night sometimes,” he added.

After Michael gives his father the grand tour, he started to confess the truth behind the home’s real owner.

“I’d like you to have something like this too, Pop,” Michael said, to which his father responded, “One day I will. Right now, you make it y’alls.”

“I got something to confess, we are not searching for a house,” he added, frustrating the “Angry Grandpa,” who asks what the h*** they were doing there then.

Michael then pulls a key out of his pocket and hands it to Charles.

“We are searching for a house for you,” Michael confessed. “This is yours.”

While it took Charles a minute to grasp what was happening, at first thinking he was getting a key to Michael’s home, he eventually burst into sobs on his son’s shoulder.

“No, no, Michael,” he said through tears. “I don’t deserve this.”

Michael assures him that he definitely does deserve it.

“Every kid wants to buy their father a house,” he told Charles.

“My whole world revolves around you,” Green said, still sobbing. “I love you more than life itself.”
