Andy Grammer Released Country Version Of ‘Honey, I’m Good’ With Eli Young Band
Pop star Andy Grammer has gone country, and honey, it’s good. Grammer re-released a twangier version of his hit “Honey, I’m Good” in collaboration with Eli Young Band.
Andy Grammer told People he felt the upbeat tune about remaining faithful to his true love was always country. He said the new Eli Young Band version brought the song “home” to its country roots.

“I always felt this song was country at its core. Being in the studio with the Eli Young Band, I finally got to hear it come home.”
Eli Young Band members were Andy Grammer fans even before he approached them about being part of the re-release. Frontman Mike Eli shared his excitement over joining forces with Grammer.
“We fell in love with it before Andy ever asked us to be part of this release. Andy is an incredible singer and one heck of a songwriter so we couldn’t be happier to help expand upon what he’s already accomplished. We can’t wait for everyone to hear the new version.”
The Andy Grammer-Eli Young Band duet is not only Grammer’s first-ever country single, it’s also the first single for Eli Young Band with their brand new record label, Big Machine’s The Valory Music Co.

This isn’t the first “Honey, I’m Good” duet Andy Grammer has done. He performed with American Idol winner Nick Fradiani as part of the show’s finale in May.
Andy Grammer recently discussed his inspiration for “Honey, I’m Good” with Parade. The 31-year-old singer-songwriter said he thinks it has been such a hit because people can easily relate to it.
“I wanted to write an honest love song. Everyone deals with temptation and to acknowledge it is kind of nice. I think that’s why it’s done so well. We all have a piece of ourselves that strives to be noble and that’s the essence of this song.”
Grammer even wanted to keep the video real by featuring average everyday couples of all kinds. He said they “really wanted to get across the heart of the song, which wouldn’t have been possible if the video was just of Andy “surrounded by hot girls.”
