‘Orphan Black’: What Is Not Happening In Season 4

Season 3 of Orphan Black had not far finished before last week’s San Diego Comic Con, so fans were eager to find out how season 4 would shape up. Considering the cast haven’t even begun working on season 4, news was scarce on the floor. However, some of the cast were happy to wildly predict what could happen.

Here’s what the cast of Orphan Black had to say to Yahoo TV during Comic Con about what they think could — but probably won’t — happen in season 4:

• Kristian Bruun (who plays Donnie Hendrix) teases he has read “every episode up until the end of season 10”. He also suggest season 4 will see the cast go into space. Jordan Gavaris (Felix Dawkins) pipes up then and announces Sigourney Weaver will star in season 4.
• Ari Millen (who plays Mark Rollins) says “we know nothing, absolutely nothing and it’s so annoying.”
• When asked about his predictions for Orphan Black, Dylan Bruce (Paul Dierden) points out there is no point in asking him as “once you die, they stop sending you scripts for some reason.”
• The cast admitted to Yahoo TV that they don’t know anything about season 4 as Graeham Manson (Orphan Black executive producer) always gets “really cagey” about upcoming events for the show.

What they can tell you though is that Neolution will be a continuing theme into season 4 of Orphan Black. Bruun did point out there might be a “grey area” because they are all about advancing humankind, even if how they are going about it is wrong. Once again it will be similar to Dyad where there were good and bad people within that organization.

TVLine’s Michael Ausiello also confirmed via the Orphan Black cast that Paul is definitely dead and will not return in season 4, Bruce calling San Diego Comic Con his “farewell tour.” This line of conversation leads into Sarah’s (Tatiana Maslany) love life and the fact that all her beaus are currently gone — in one way or another — from Orphan Black. So could we see some romance for her in season 4? There is the suggestion that Sarah “deserves a little” but there is no expansion on that idea. So it is anyone’s guess as to how Sarah’s love life will pan out in the next season of Orphan Black.

While there were not many teasers for season 4 of Orphan Black, there was some incredible blooper reels and gag videos which helped appease the fans.
