ESPYs 2015: Caitlyn Jenner Snags Angelina Jolie’s Stylist, Nervous About Acceptance Speech
Caitlyn Jenner is set to make her appearance at the 2015 ESPY Awards on Wednesday night, July 15. At the live event, she will be honored with the Arthur Ashe Courage Award. Not only has Cait scored a major fashion stylist, but she’s also reportedly feeling “nervous” about her acceptance speech. According to an inside source, the 65-year-old Jenner not only feels “nervous,” but also feels “sick to her stomach with nerves and excitement.” Jenner will take the stage at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, California. The Kardashian-Jenner clan will also be there to share this exciting moment and to celebrate her huge victory.
Although Caitlyn is feeling nervous about her big entrance, another source added that she’s “very excited, a little scared and nervous – but not as much as the Diane Sawyer interview.” That was the first time that Caitlyn revealed her true gender identity on national television. The reality star is now feeling comfortable being her true self in the public eye.
There’s very few details about what else will happen during the awards show. The second source added that “everything has been locked down besides the speech. There are a few things to fine tune and its mostly done but she is just going over it to make sure it’s what she wants it to be, since it will last forever.”
But somehow, Us Weekly got the scoop on Caitlyn Jenner’s first public appearance. The weekly tabloid was able to get more details from another insider. Jenner doesn’t want to blend in with the rest of the athletes, even with her famous family in attendance.
“She doesn’t want to draw an obscene amount of attention to herself and take away from the other deserving athletes.”
Us Weekly predicted that Cait was bringing transgender woman, Candis Cayne, as her date. A previous report via the Inquisitr has denied this rumor. It looks like the Kardashian-Jenner clan were the only ones who are Caitlyn’s dates.
Caitlyn will be dressed to the nines, thanks to Angelina Jolie’s stylist. According to a previous report in USA Today, Jen Rade will dress Caitlyn for her first publicized since transitioning into a woman.
Alan Nierob, Jenner’s rep, told the news site, “Jen is working with us for the ESPYs.” She even tweeted her excitement about styling Jenner.
