‘Housewives’ Heather Quitting: Heather Thomson Reportedly Leaving ‘RHONY’ Because Of Drama

Is Housewives‘ Heather quitting the show?

According to Reality Tea, that’s what is going around the Bravo TV rumor mill this week. Heather Thomson has been on The Real Housewives Of New York for the past three seasons, but sources say that the drama has gotten to be too much for her, and she’s not planning on coming back.

Heather has a very successful clothing brand (Yummie), and reportedly wants to work on that, and also spend more time enjoying life with her family instead of fighting with Bethenny Frankel and the rest of the RHONY women.

“She wants to focus full-time on her business, Yummie, her family, and expanding into the health and nutrition arena,” explained a source.

According to Us Weekly, Housewives‘ Heather is quitting the show because she no longer feels that it is a “good fit” for her. The drama this season was too much, and she’s ready to make a change.

“She did the show to promote her business and later to be with her best friend, Carole Radziwill, and didn’t expect it to end up with fighting with Bethenny and Sonja [Morgan] and the rest edited out. It is no longer a good fit with where she sees her life going so she is making the choice to walk away,” explained a source.

As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Heather feels as though the cons outweigh the pros at this point, and she’s just ready to move on. As far as the other women on the show, word is that Bethenny Frankel will undoubtedly be back for Season 8, but Kristen Taekman and Carole Radziwill will not be returning. Bravo has not confirmed any of these departures, however.

If Housewives star Heather is quitting the show, one has to wonder if she will be replaced. The Real Housewives Of New York already has a pretty stacked cast, however (there are currently eight women on the show including Heather Thomson), and may not need to fill the void. However, if three women leave, there is a chance that Bravo will be looking to add to the cast, which would definitely shake things up next season.
