Play ‘Dragon Age: Inquisition’ For Free Via Origin, Includes Six Hours Of The Single Player Campaign, Unlimited Multiplayer

Leading a team of well-trained rogues, mages, and warriors, the Inquisitor fights against the breach and what may come through it during the course of Dragon Age: Inquisition. The game released late last year on last-generation consoles, PC, Playstation 4, and Xbox One, but there are still a number of people yet to play the grand RPG. Those people are in luck today. For a limited time, everyone can download Dragon Age: Inquisition for free from Origin giving them an opportunity to play up to six hours of the game’s single player and unlimited access to the multiplayer mode.

Dragon Age: Inquisition is available for free through Origin right now, meaning that only PC players can benefit from the promotion. Downloading it now, though, will let players continue playing the game’s separate multiplayer mode without having to buy a copy of the client to access the multiplayer. Additionally, by downloading the game for free, players will gain access to six hours of the game’s single player campaign. Those that wish to continue their Inquisitor’s journey after the initial six hours will need to purchase the full game. Any progress made during the Dragon Age: Inquisition trail will carry over to a full game purchase, too.

The multiplayer in Dragon Age: Inquisition is designed for a group of four players. The mode is fully PvE, grouping up players to challenge a number of different enemies across a small variety of maps. In fact, the multiplayer mode has had two free DLCs that expand the options available to players by adding a new map and even dragons as a new enemy type. Players earn gold in the matches by finding treasure rooms and completing objectives that can later be used to buy chests. The chests in the multiplayer mode of Dragon Age: Inquisition contain a random assortment of items including weapons, armor to unlock new classes, potions, and more.

Those looking to adventure through Thedas in a single player environment may only have six hours to experience for free, but that is only the beginning. With a customizable main character and 12 companions and advisors to meet, players have plenty of options when it comes to party composition and romance. As the Inquisitor, players will lead their followers in effort to defeat a great evil and ultimately save the world. Even after completing the main game, players will have a chance to continue playing the Inquisitor with the first story-based DLC “Jaws of Hakkon.” That DLC is out right now, but the game’s creative director has teased many times that more DLC related to the story is on the way.
