14-Year-Old Girls Bullied Update: Bullies In Horrific Facebook Video Identified, Police Set To Make Arrests

Horrific footage of two 14-year-old girls being bullied recently surfaced on Facebook. Now, it has been reported that the two bullies involved will be receiving a surprise from the Birmingham South Police Department.

The disturbing video, that most have found very difficult to watch, shows the two girls being relentlessly tormented by two aggressive females, presumably 15 or 16 years of age.

As previously reported on Inquisitr, the two girls were accused of giving the bully "dirty looks" prior to the attack that reportedly occurred on July 11. So, the bullies opted for a heinous brand of revenge that has left many viewers appalled. At one point in the video, one of the victimized teens is forced to get on her knees and apologize. But, unfortunately, the bully still was not satisfied, and opted to take the torment a step further. After the girl's fearful apology, she proceeded to hit her with an empty bag. However, the abuse didn't stop there.

According to Metro, the victim is then forced to the ground and mauled by the girl as her friend is also abused. Throughout the video, the bullies continue to make more demands of the two girls. To further humiliate them, she told one of the girls to remove her socks and shoes, and then she tossed the girl's belongings in the street. The male filming the vile attack made no attempt to intervene and dissolve the altercation.

Here is the full video.

While it's not uncommon for bully videos to go viral, this particular video surged with more than six million views because most social media users were absolutely disgusted by what they'd viewed. In fact, the overwhelming public response has actually led to the identification of the bullies in the video. According to Opposing Views, the Birmingham South Police Department has spoken with the male who filmed the video and have arrested the 16-year-old female bully in the video.

On Tuesday, July 14, John Askew, an inspector with the Birmingham South Police, released a statement regarding the video and the public's assistance with the investigation.

"The response from members of the public, clearly disgusted by what they've seen online, has been overwhelming and we've had lots of people getting in touch to provide names of those responsible. We have identified the two main suspects and plans are in place for one of the girls, a 16-year-old, to attend a police station for questioning later today. We understand the other main suspect is out of the country on holiday, but we will speak to her upon her return. I would like to reassure everyone this is being treated very seriously and that the enquiry is progressing...under no circumstances should anyone take matters into their own hands as this could leave them liable to prosecution themselves."
