‘RHOBH’ Season Six: Kim Richards Won’t Be Seen In A Part-Time Or Full-Time Role

RHOBH Season Six will not include Kim Richards. While it was previously believed Richards could return to RHOBH Season Six as a part-time housewife or guest star, TMZ confirmed on July 15 that the troubled reality star would not be seen at all when the show returns.

According to the report, producers of RHOBH Season Six have decided to ban Richards from filming the series — even as a “friend” of the other women.

As for why, TMZ explained, “Kim is struggling with substance abuse and producers think she’s unreliable and poses a liability risk.”

Ahead of filming on RHOBH Season Six, Richards suffered an alcohol relapse, which eventually led to her April 16 arrest at the Beverly Hills Hotel. Since then, she has continued to struggle, going in and out of rehab a number of times, and reportedly experiencing at least one more relapse.

As the Inquisitr previously reported, Richards left her latest rehab over the weekend as her co-stars, including sister Kyle and Lisa Vanderpump, filmed RHOBH Season Six in Europe. On July 14, a source revealed the following to Radar Online regarding Richards’ exit from treatment.

“Kim left the inpatient program. But she will continue to do outpatient. She said that she was finally cured and is ready to get on with her life because she has so many projects right now and in-patient rehab does not fit into her schedule.”

Since she’s been ousted from RHOBH Season Six, it is unclear what exactly Richards is working on, but either way, her ex-husband, Monty Brinson, is proud of how far she’s come and looking forward to her future in showbiz.

“Kim checked into voluntary because she wanted to help herself, no intervention or told her too. I’m proud of her because she 38 days sober. So proud of her for doing it in her own. In the tabloids they say the children have abandoned her which is a complete lie our daughter Brooke and her other children are so proud and by her 100% as well as the regarding the last post was that since everything happen she has been offered multiple things. Its not a comeback she been a actress since she was 4.”

RHOBH Season Six will likely return to Bravo later this year, although a premiere date has not yet been set. In addition to Kyle Richards and Lisa Vanderpump, Lisa Rinna and Eileen Davidson are expected to return.
