J.J. Watt Loses His Cool When Meeting Celeb Crush Jennifer Aniston
NFL star J.J. Watt may live his dream every day playing football for the Houston Texans, but fulfilling another life-long dream caused him to totally lose his cool. The 6? 5?, 289-pound defensive end wasn’t ashamed to admit he had a major fanboy moment when finally meeting his one-and-only celebrity crush, Jennifer Aniston.
Watt posted a picture on his Twitter account of himself grinning ear-to-ear, with his arm wrapped around Aniston. The caption read, “I’m not even going to try to pretend like I acted cool when this happened #lifemade.”

As excited as he was about the connection, he did share a few regrets.
“I shook her hand instead of hugging her. Then I left the room without proposing. It was a complete disaster.”
J.J. realizes his dream of marrying the 46-year-old actress is “dead” because she is engaged to Justin Theroux, but he said he “can still joke about it.”
J.J. Watt told the Associated Press the experience was “incredible,” and Aniston was “very sweet.” The star-struck 26-year-old pointed out “[h]er initials are J.J. too, so it was really cool.” The Friends star’s name is Jennifer Joanna, and Watt’s is Justin James.
The meeting was able to finally happen because J.J. and Jennifer are with the same Los Angeles talent agency. Watt was there when asked if there was anything the agency could do for him. He seized the opportunity to possibly make his dream of meeting Aniston come true. Fate was on his side, because she happened to be in the building, too.
J.J. Watt was linked to tennis star Caroline Wozniacki in the recent past, but according to AP, he says he does not have a girlfriend. The two were spotted together in April at the NCAA championship in Houston, as well as in May at the French Open, where Wozniacki competed.
While Watt has his own legion of devoted fans, and is admired by his fellow NFL players, he remains quite humble. E! News reports Watt doesn’t take the amazing things he gets to experience for granted.
“It goes to show you anybody can do it … I came from a small town in Wisconsin, just like a lot of people, so there’s nothing crazy or special, it’s just hard work that gets you to where you want to be.”
He may currently be single, but J.J. Watt does see a future with children in it. He went on to tell E! when he has kids, he doesn’t think they’ll believe him when he tells stories of all the “cool things” he’s been able to see and do.
“I don’t think my kids will believe me, so I’m hoping people have been taking pictures this whole time, so that someday they’ll believe me. Someday, they’ll be like, ‘Dad there’s no way you did that!’ “
