Chris Brown Robbed, Aunt Held At Gunpoint In Home – Brown’s Mom Joyce Hawkins On Twitter: ‘Watch Who You’re Standing Beside’ [Video]

Chris Brown was the victim of a robbery, reports CNN.

Even though Brown wasn’t home, his aunt was at the singer’s home in Los Angeles when it was robbed. It was the suburb named Tarzana in Southern California that was the location of the robbery. The three males who robbed the San Fernando Valley home also locked Brown’s aunt in a closet after she opened the door upon hearing noises, authorities report.

The incident at Chris’ house occurred at approximately 2 a.m. PT (5 a.m. ET) on Wednesday, as reported by R. Alvarez, a police officer with the Los Angeles Police Department. The three men had guns and muscled their way into the home and secured Brown’s aunt into a closet whilst they rummaged through the home and stole various items.

Meanwhile, TMZ took the above video footage of Brown visiting a nightclub. Chris arrived at a club in Hollywood called the Argyle at approximately 12:30 a.m. — with footage of Brown leaving the club at 2:13 a.m. Little did Brown know that his home was being invaded at the time and his aunt forced to wait in a closet while the robbers took Brown’s things.

In the video, videographers ask Chris about his daughter Royalty, and whether or not Brown will build a footlocker for her in his home. That’s because photos of Brown’s huge footlocker in the new home in the family-friendly section of L.A. have recently made the news.

There aren’t details on exactly what was robbed from Chris’ home, but it isn’t the first time that police have had to respond to troubles of unwanted people in Brown’s house. Chris previously dealt with a woman who took his door off the hinges and prepared food and scrawled “I love you” messages on his walls. Not only that, Brown alleged that 21-year-old intruder Amira Kodcia Ayeb threw away his daughter Royalty’s clothing.

According to police, the robbers told Chris’ aunt that they were well aware it was Brown’s house they were robbing. Reportedly money was stolen as well as other unnamed items, and by the time Chris’ aunt called the police, the men had fled.

As reported by the Inquisitr, Chris’ ex-girlfriend Rihanna has been making her own waves online with her NSFW “B**** Better Have My Money” video, which received 1.3 million views in only eight hours.

Joyce Hawkins, Chris’ mom, believes the robbery of Brown’s home was an inside job, carried out by grown men who hang around Chris as their profession. She warned Chris on Twitter to watch who he was standing beside.
