‘Teen Mom 2′ Star Leah Messer Discusses Her Twins’ Bond After Drug Test Results Are Revealed

Teen Mom 2 star Leah Messer has taken to Facebook, where’s she shared a link to an article about twins. After her drug test results were featured in a sneak peek of an upcoming episode of Teen Mom 2 Season 6, Messer addressed the bond her twins share.

“Twins share such a special bond smile emoticon So lucky to see that bond between my girls!”

Messer and her first husband, Corey Simms, welcomed their twins, Ali and Aleeah, now 5, in late 2010, while filming for MTV’s 16 & Pregnant. Months later, the couple signed on to continue to share their journey as young parents on Teen Mom 2.

Although Messer and Simms tied the knot nearly a year after their twins’ birth, they split just six months later after Messer admitted to cheating on Simms with her ex-boyfriend, Robbie Kidd (Messer was also accused of cheating on her second husband, Jeremy Calvert). Since then, they have done their best to co-parent their daughters, but unfortunately, their relationship is often strained.

As the Inquisitr previously reported, Messer and Simms were at odds during filming on Teen Mom 2 Season 6. During the show, Messer was accused of abusing drugs, and in the trailer for the new installment, which premiered last week, Simms was seen confronting her about her alleged addiction to prescription drugs.

According to The Ashley’s Reality Roundup, Messer immediately denied there was a drug problem, but Simms pressed on, feeling there was something she was hiding.

“We understand what you deal with. We’re saying is there something that you take to deal with that problem? … Can you look at me and Miranda in our eyes and tell us there is no drug problem?”

Although Messer claimed the issues Simms sees are not drug issues, but rather issues of stress and depression, which stem from her strained relationship with her then-husband, Calvert, as well as the pressures of raising three young children.

“I think I know that there’s a drug problem and I think you’re afraid to tell me… As their father, I will do that I have to do.”

As Teen Mom 2 Season 6 continues, Messer is seen going to court and taking a drug test. When the results are revealed, it is noted that she was not on any drugs during testing. However, during the previous Teen Mom 2 episode, Messer’s lawyer confirmed she was taking prescription medication for headaches (most would assume the medication she was on was pain killers, which she was rumored to be addicted to, but that has yet to be revealed).

Teen Mom 2 Season 6 airs Thursdays at 10 p.m. on MTV.
