‘GTA V’ Money Glitch Car Duplication Still Working In PlayStation 4 And Xbox One After Ill-Gotten Gains Part 2 DLC

Grand Theft Auto V(GTA V) rolled out the new Ill-Gotten Gains Part 2 DLC for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and other platforms last week, but glitches that will earn money and other items are still working.

Christian Today reports that this new GTA Vmoney glitch is still working as of date, despite Rockstar’s efforts to debug and disable money and item glitches. These glitches were discovered by GTA V players after the Ill-Gotten Gains Part 2 DLC rolled out for free last week.

The player prerequisite to make the GTA V money glitch work, primarily, is a GTA V garage stuffed with nine cars. The recommended garage for the success of the GTA V money glitch is the Unit 2 Poplar St. garage. One of the cars inside the garage should be a duplicate Benefactor Panto car. Drive the duplicate Benefactor Panto outside your garage and destroy it with a grenade, with the character still inside the car. The grenade will then wreck the car, killing you in the process.

Naturally, your GTA V character will respawn after the explosion. Steal a car from the street right away—any car will do—and immediately phone Mors Mutual Insurance. The Mors Mutual Insurance will then open up an interactive window and while it’s open on the left side of the screen, drive the stolen car to your garage door while holding down the accelerator and brake at the same time.

The next step will take some serious timing, which if fails, will result to an unsuccessful GTA V money glitch attempt. Right after releasing the break, quickly press the “X” button for PlayStation 4 or “A” button for Xbox One. You will know if you succeeded in doing the glitch in GTA V if the insurance claim go through and the stolen car rolls into your garage at the same time. Head back to the GTA V job lobby, buy ammo, and restock your grenades. Once you quit the GTA V job lobby, you will see the duplicated car in the street near you. Get back on the car and drive it back to you garage.

This money-making scheme is just one of the few glitches in the GTA V game after the Ill-Gotten Gains Part 2 DLC and patches 1.27/1.25 and 1.26/1.28. YouTube user and GTA V gamer JayBobGamerZz posts a video to guide you through the GTA V money glitch in his YouTube account here.

This car-duplicating glitch for GTA V is tried and tested with PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles, but no news has been reported that the GTA V glitch will work with older-generation consoles, namely the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

iDigitalTimes also lists down more glitches still working for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC after the GTA V Ill-Gotten Part 2 DLC, like the free special beer hats for GTA Online, free gold finish paint job, and the ability to create street races at the airport and military base. Videos on how the GTA V glitches work are embedded on iDigitalTimes’ report here.

Rockstar is still, undoubtedly, trying to fix the glitches for GTA V, but as long as these glitches are still working, they’re not illegal to try at all.
