Tareq Salahi To Crash Virginia Governor’s Race

White House party crasher Tareq Salahi is throwing his hat into the governor’s race in Virginia.

Salahi, who made headlines in 2009 when he crashed a state dinner at the White House, was able to transform his tabloid fame into a reality TV show. Salahi and his now estranged wife, Michaele, starred in “The Real Housewives of D.C.” Now Salahi is hoping to use his fame to gram the Governor’s chair in Virginia. Salahi told Fox:

“I am troubled to see how our current political figureheads continue to waste taxpayer dollars. I’m a big believer in limited government — keeping taxes, regulation and litigation low — and if I do win, everyone is invited to crash the inauguration!”

Salahi could possibly have a large bank roll for his election campaign. Salahi is suing Journey guitarist Neal Schon for $50 million. Salahi claims that he was set to rake in millions from TV deals with his wife, but that plan was destroyed when the guitarist came into the picture.

Do you think Tareq Salahi will become the Governor of Virginia? Do you think he’ll sue his opponent for ruining his chance at a political career?
