WWE Rumor: Seth Rollins To Get New Security Crew At ‘WWE Battleground’?

On last night’s RAW, Brock Lesnar took out the last remaining member of The Authority that was standing by Seth Rollins’ side when he slammed the steel steps on Kane’s ankle, and with Seth Rollins kicking Kane while he’s down, it’s clear that the “Big Red Monster” won’t be in Rollins’ corner at this Sunday’s WWE Battleground pay-per-view.

J&J Security also fell victim to “The Beast” last week. Jamie Noble got his arm broken after Brock Lesnar put him in the Kimura, and Joey Mercury got suplexed onto J&J’s destroyed Cadillac. So, one would assume that Rollins will be walking into to WWE Battleground alone.

The odds on Sunday’s main-event have been shifting a lot, and as of right now, they’re in favor of Brock Lesnar. However, there have been rumors that Lesnar won’t end up walking out of WWE Battleground as the new WWE World Heavyweight Champion, and that Rollins will somehow escape with the title, likely via disqualification.

There have also been rumors of Rollins getting a new security crew or building a new faction. No one knows exactly who would be involved, but the idea has been thrown around. Of course, there’s also a chance that J&J Security could return to Rollins’ side this Sunday and cause a disqualification, which would ensure that Rollins walks out as the Champion, while Lesnar doesn’t get pinned or submitted.

If WWE is planning on having Rollins take on Triple H at next month’s SummerSlam, it’s likely that Rollins will lose the title to Brock Lesnar this Sunday, but that leaves Lesnar without an obvious opponent at SummerSlam. There are some guys who could step up and challenge Lesnar — Randy Orton, Sheamus, Roman Reigns — but it’s expected that Rollins and Lesnar will have a rematch at SummerSlam.

The finish of this Sunday’s WWE World Heavyweight Championship match will be a good indicator of what WWE’s plans for SummerSlam are and what their WrestleMania plans for Brock Lesnar are. If Lesnar wins the title, then he’ll likely hold onto it until WrestleMania where he’ll probably lose it to Roman Reigns in a rematch from last year. If Lesnar loses the match this Sunday, then he could be headed towards a super-match with someone like The Rock or “Stone Cold” Steve Austin.

As for Seth Rollins, he may end up facing Triple H next month, or WWE may hold off on that match until WrestleMania. Either way, WWE does want to do a Rollins vs. Triple H match at some point in the near future.
