Louis Tomlinson And Briana Jungwirth: What Is There To Know About The One Direction Singer’s Baby Mama?
It’s official: One Direction member Louis Tomlinson is going to be a dad.
Tomlinson is expecting his first child with stylist Briana Jungwirth after only a few short months of “hanging out.” Jungwirth and Tomlinson met through mutual friends earlier this year after Louis called it quits from longtime girlfriend Eleanor Calder in March.
Jungwirth and Tomlinson first ignited dating rumors in May after being spotted on several dates together. However, what is there to know about Tomlinson’s baby mama?
According to People Magazine, a source close to Tomlinson confirmed the exciting baby news for the happy couple, telling the outlet that Louis is “very excited” about becoming a father.
“Louis is happy and very excited about becoming a dad and he thinks Briana will be an amazing mother. It was a surprise at first, but he and Briana are very, very close friends and this has brought them even closer.”
While Tomlinson and Jungwirth’s friendship wasn’t publicly known until they were spotted on several dates around the L.A. area earlier this year, Hollywood Life reports that the duo has been close friends for a while.
A source tells People that the duo have been quietly spending a lot of time together over the past few months.
“Louis and Briana care about each other very much and have spent a lot of time together privately over the last few months. They are both really happy and although they aren’t in a relationship, their friendship is extremely strong and they are both really excited about the baby. It’s early days and Briana and the baby’s health are the most important things right now.”
In addition, the source adds that Briana likes her private life, noting that she doesn’t use any social media accounts except for occasionally sending out a tweet now and again.
“Briana is a really lovely girl; she’s absolutely not interested in Louis’ fame. She’s very private and most of the time they spend together is out of the public eye, just hanging out with their friends.”
Hollywood Life notes that up until recently, Jungwirth had never even been to one of One Direction’s shows.
A mutual friend of Tomlinson and Jungwirth revealed that the soon-to-be parents introduced their families to one another over the Fourth of July weekend.
The source notes that both families “really hit it off when they met,” adding, “They are all excited and totally supportive.”
