Is Brody Jenner Feuding With Kim Kardashian Over New E! Series?

Brody Jenner and Kim Kardashian are reportedly at odds over Jenner’s new adult-themed show on the E! Network. Weeks after the series debut, a source has spoken out, claiming Kardashian was upset after learning her step-brother had landed his own show on the network she’s called home for the last several years.

On July 14, a source told Radar Online that Brody Jenner’s new talk show had been in the works “for about six months when Kim found out about it, and it was already a done deal by then.”

“The network had wanted [Brody Jenner] to do a reality show, but he wanted a change from that genre.”

Although Brody Jenner’s show is much different from Keeping Up With The Kardashians, which is currently in its 10th season, sources claim that Kardashian was still upset with Jenner, reportedly feeling as if he stepped on her toes.

“She wasn’t happy when she found out about it, and totally threw a hissy fit. She even asked Kris to intervene to see if the show could be axed before it was even on the air! Kim claimed the only reason [Brody Jenner] got the show was because of her connections, which is funny because he had already been doing reality TV long before KUWTK aired.”

As fans of Brody Jenner will recall, he has starred on a number of reality shows aside from Keeping Up With The Kardashians. First, he and his brother, Brandon, appeared alongside Spencer Pratt in Princes of Malibu, which featured their lavish lives in Southern California. Years later, he joined Lauren Conrad, Heidi Montag, and Audrina Partridge on The Hills, and from there, he landed a third reality series, Bromance, which chronicled his journey to find a new best friend.

“Brody was happy that E! wanted to work with him, and could care less about the drama Kim is trying to create. In fact, [Brody Jenner] would love to have her on the show to discuss her infamous sex tape!”

As the Inquisitr previously reported, Brody Jenner recently revealed he had ended his relationship with Kardashian’s mother, Kris Jenner, who divorced his dad, Caitlyn Jenner, late last year. During an interview with the UK’s Mirror Online, Jenner said he and his former stepmother simply don’t talk, and claimed it wasn’t because he didn’t like her, but rather that she was too busy to entertain their relationship.

Brody Jenner’s series airs Fridays at 10:30 p.m. on the E! Network.
