Nick Gordon Served With $10M Lawsuit, Accused Of Distress And Assault

Nick Gordon was reportedly served with a lawsuit at Starbucks on Sunday in regards to his alleged abuse of Bobbi Kristina Brown.

Radar Online reports that the $10 million lawsuit was served to Gordon inside of a Starbucks coffee shop in Longwood.

The legal documents pertaining to the lawsuit were placed inside of a manila envelope and placed into Nick Gordon’s hands by a process server, according to Daily News.

Gordon, who was leaving the Starbucks with a large cream-topped Frapuccino in his hand at the time, was apparently confused by the delivery.

The longtime partner of Bobbi Kristina claimed that he had “no idea” what was in the envelope after a bystander asked about the package.

According to Radar Online, the $10 million lawsuit was filed by Bobbi Kristina’s conservator, Bedelia Hargrove, on June 24 in Fulton County, Georgia. Within the civil complaint, Hargrove claims that Nick caused “substantial” harm to the 22-year-old daughter of Bobby Brown and the late Whitney Houston.

One incident in particular is mentioned where Nick Gordon allegedly punched Bobbi Kristina in the face, “knocking out a front tooth and [dragged] her upstairs by her hair.” The documents further claimed that Nick Gordon was very controlling when it came to Bobbi Kristina’s personal life and finances.

Further allegations claimed that Bobbi was not allowed to make appointments without Nick’s consent and her cell phone was habitually answered by Nick.

Nick Gordon is also accused of taking $11,000 from Bobbi Kristina’s bank account after she was hospitalized and placed into a medically induced coma.

During an intervention with Dr. Phil back in March, Nick Gordon and his mother, Michelle, opened up about the events that led up to Bobbi Kristina Brown’s hospitalization.

Michelle discussed her son’s alleged suicide attempts and how he had turned to drinking in order to cope with being away from her.

Dr. Phil responded to the claims with a blunt statement directed at Nick.

“Nick, you’re out of control. You’ve threatened suicide. You deserve to get some help because if you don’t, you know you’re going to wind up dead.”

As reported by Us Weekly, Nick Gordon responded by promising to be clean, sober, and a good person.
