‘The Young And The Restless’ Drama: Admissions, Apologies, And Confrontations Ahead [Spoilers]

This is a big week on The Young and the Restless, as the truth about Adam Newman is revealed to an extent. Viewers saw on Monday’s episode that Chelsea overheard Adam mention who he really is, and the action picks up from there on Tuesday’s episode. What Young and Restless spoilers are available for the July 14 show?

She Knows Soaps teases that when Chelsea hears “Gabe” say something about being Adam Newman, she drops her glass. The Young and the Restless spoilers tease that he’ll initially try to cover up what he said, but Chelsea doesn’t fall for it. Next, Adam will try to make a joke about it to throw her off-track, but again, she pushes for a real explanation. Then, Adam explains that he really is Adam Newman.

Justin Hartley, who plays Adam, and Melissa Claire Egan, who plays Chelsea, teased Young and Restless spoilers that these scenes will be powerful and emotional. Adam explains what happened the night he disappeared, and he’ll even show her the scar from where he was shot by Billy. Chelsea experiences a wild range of emotions, and questions what they are supposed to do now.

Young and Restless spoilers from Celeb Dirty Laundry indicate that while Adam says that they need to keep his identity a secret and that this is their second chance, Chelsea isn’t so sure. She will urge him to turn himself in, and she’ll learn that Jack has known that Gabe was really Adam, as well. They’ll also talk about how Adam blackmailed Victor, and she’ll indicate that she’s not sure she can go along with all of this.

Also ahead on Tuesday’s episode, Paul will talk about arresting Avery for firing the gun, but Dylan asks Joe to let it go. The Young and the Restless spoilers indicate that Michael will tell Avery that Joe will drop the charges if she’ll apologize. Avery throws out something of an apology, but it’s definitely not what Joe was seeking, as she’s still clearly very angry.

Victor will hear details of a potential plea deal from Christine, but it seems he’ll turn it down. As viewers saw in Monday’s episode, Jack wrote down a “2” on paper for Phyllis, and he’s desperate for her to understand what he meant by it. A nurse tells a guard of Victor’s that Jack managed to write something down, but she hasn’t gotten a glance at it.

As things play out with Avery, Dylan will get emotional as he recounts all the support she gave him along the way. He pleads with her to get help, and later she tells Michael she doesn’t think she can continue to work as a lawyer. They talk about her taking some time off, and Joe tells Paul he’s dropping the charges.

Prior Young and Restless spoilers have indicated that Avery Bailey Clark will be leaving Genoa City, and it seems that her final air date will be Tuesday, July 21. Does Avery just quietly go off to take some time to herself, never to be seen again? Or is there more drama ahead for her before she leaves? It had seemed that she’d be going out in something of a blaze of glory, but now it’s sounding as if Avery’s departure will be a bit more like a whisper.

Back at the hospital, Jack will have a setback after trying to communicate with Phyllis. The Young and the Restless spoilers indicate that she will confront Victor about what Jack wrote, but he’ll claim to be confused as well. Also on Tuesday’s episode, it seems that Cane will cross paths with Joe and throw a punch at him for having slept with Lily.

What does Chelsea do now that she knows that Gabe is really Adam? Fans can’t wait to see how this all plays out, and there’s more to come with Jack this week, as well. Viewers won’t want to miss a minute of The Young and the Restless this week now that there’s big progress being made in these key storylines.
