Tori Spelling moving because she’s forced to cut back due to financial difficulties? In a game of true or false, reports circulated that Tori and Dean McDermott were moving because they had to downsize. Spelling and her husband abandoned their home in Encino, California, but the reason why is hotly disputed, reported Us Weekly.

However, an insider claims that it’s a case of Spelling’s lease running out, rather than being forced to move because of money matters.

“Tori and Dean moved into a new house — it’s the same number of bedrooms and everything,” clarified the source. “They just moved because their lease was up, nothing more to it than that. It was not a downsizing thing.”

The reports about financial problems stem from Tori’s own confession on her reality TV show True Tori.

“We live paycheck to paycheck! After [True Tori] I have no f**king idea if work’s going to come in. Like, how am I going to support my family in six months?”

But as for the answer to that question, 42-year-old Spelling can’t look to her mother. Regardless of the reason for moving, Candy Spelling has made it clear that she will not share the $600 million left to her by Tori’s dad, Aaron Spelling.

McDermott, 48, claimed that Tori’s mother would not help the family.

“Candy has provided financial help in the past and has offered repeatedly to pay for the children’s private schooling and Tori has never told her where to send the money,” retorted Candy’s spokesperson.

As for the current plans for Tori and Dean, Spelling tried to generate cash with an enormous yard sale prior to moving, reported the Daily Mail.

Now, leaving that rented mansion behind, they sought help from friends to leave amid a battle. Tori and Dean have not tried to hide their dissension over money on their reality TV show. They have four children: Liam is 8, Stella is 7, Hattie is 3, and Finn is 2.

“Look at the life we’re leading. We’re paying for five f***ing private schools,” said Tori. “My dad wouldn’t have wanted this. He’d be so mad. He worked so friggin’ hard so his kids wouldn’t have to f***ing struggle. I don’t want to change our lifestyle. That’s why I work so hard. I don’t want to change.”

Dean, however, reportedly has urged his wife to downsize.

As for bringing in money? Tori has been generating income by using her social media posts to do promotions for various companies, as the Inquisitr reported. Spelling touted everything from bras to yogurt prior to moving.
