Paris Hilton’s Sister, Nicky, Gets Hitched

Hotel Heiress Nicky Hilton and English banking heir James Rothschild exchanged wedding vows at Orangery, Kensington Palace in London last Friday.

Nicholai Olivia’s older sister and best friend, Paris Hilton, updated her fans of her sister’s extravagant wedding by uploading photos on Instagram.

Paris snapped a photo of her periwinkle silk robe with the words “maid of honor” written at the back as well as Nicky’s white robe, which was labelled “bride.”

The 34-year-old former reality star also showed her sister’s luxurious Louboutin wedding heels.

The white, satin shoes have the words “Mrs Rothschild” embossed on the sides as well as the date of the wedding stamped on the heels.

And the bride’s wedding gown by Valentino was estimated to be worth between $75,000 and $77,000.

The wedding, which was celebrated for three days, was graced by mostly influential and wealthy people such Chelsea Clinton, Rich Kids of Beverly Hills star and successor Dorothy Wang, Pavlos and Marie Chantal and The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Kyle Richards.

Thursday was reserved for the rehearsal dinner and wedding party at the Spencer House.

After the couple got married on Friday, they returned to the Orangery on Saturday for a wedding lunch party.

Nicky’s second wedding was indeed very much different from her first marriage, which took place in The Las Vegas Wedding Bureau and Vegas Chapel on August 15, 2004.

Nicky, who was only 20 years old then, married Todd Andrew Meister, who was 33 years old and son of a rich executive from AON, an international insurance brokerage company.

Meister was reported to have proposed to Hilton early in 2004 and planned the wedding by the fall.

The two filed for an annulment even before they celebrated their third month of marriage.

Back then, Nicky had only Bijou Phillips, Nicole Richie and big sister Paris as her wedding guests. Paris stood as her maid of honor and Jeff Beacher as the groom’s best man.

With her wedding to Rothschild, all of the Hiltons were there to celebrate with her.

Though Nicky had other relationships after Meister, Rothschild is “the love of her life”. The two met in 2011 during the nuptials of Petra Ecclestone and James Stunt and got engaged last year while at Lake Como.

With all the support of her family and friends plus the lavish celebration, hopefully, Nicky Hilton and James Rothschild’s marriage will stand the test of time.
