‘Batman v Superman’ Trailer Released – And It Will Blow You Away

The second, official trailer for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice was released this weekend, thanks to the San Diego Comic-Con.

Any doubts or uncertainties that existed in the minds and hearts of longtime Batman fans were completely eliminated almost immediately after the trailer began.

Even though the teaser trailer released earlier this year provided quick glimpses of the highly-anticipated 2016 film, this second trailer provided answers to many previously unanswered questions.

Many fans and skeptical critics would agree wholeheartedly that the Batman v Superman trailer confirms that the Zack Snyder-directed film is going to blow away the global box-office when it is finally released – setting DC Comics on the map when it comes to big-screen adaptations.

Perhaps a major highlight of the trailer was the fact that Batman fans finally got to see Ben Affleck in action.

Since the casting announcement of Ben Affleck as Batman was first confirmed, skeptical fans and critics did not hesitate to generate negative backlash over the decision.

A major part of their argument was Ben’s highly-criticized portrayal of Matt Murdock in the 2003 film, Daredevil.

In a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly, Affleck opened up about Daredevil with a slightly different perspective than he has shown in past interviews.

“Daredevil didn’t work, at all. If I wanted to go viral I would be less polite. That was before people realized you could make these movies and make them well. There was a cynical sense of ‘Put a red leather outfit on a guy, have him run around, hunt some bad guys, and cash the check.”

With the recent release of the second Batman v Superman trailer, Ben Affleck apparently redeemed itself (at least slightly) for that highly-criticized performance.

Chances are that there will be at least one more full-length trailer released before Batman v Superman is officially released in March 2016.
