Watch the USA Men’s National Soccer Team live online as they go for a perfect 3-0 record to win Group A of the CONCACAF Gold Cup, facing a dangerous Panama side on Monday. While Team USA has already clinched first place in their group and a spot in the Gold Cup quarterfinals, coach Jurgen Klinsmann insists that his players will spare nothing to win the otherwise meaningless game.

The USA looked shaky in both of their opening Gold Cup matches, barely edging Haiti 1-0 on Friday — a win that guaranteed first place in the group for the United States men’s side. Klinsmann sees plenty of work to be done in Monday’s Panama match, with the United States hoping to make it through the group stage with a spotless 3-0 record.
“There was still some stuff that was not so good, so we keep working on that,” Klinsman said on Sunday. “It’s a nice feeling knowing we are already first, but it doesn’t mean that we are slowing down now. It should be the opposite. We’ve got to keep raising the bar.”
But that doesn’t mean that Klinsmann plans to drive his players to exhaustion. Clint Dempsey, who played all 90 minutes of both previous USA matches, is expected to watch the Panama game from the bench, though Team USA will have all week to rest before the CONCACAF Gold Cup quarterfinal round gets underway next Saturday.
If Dempsey is held back on Monday, the USA wold face a challenge without him. Demspey has scored all three USA goals in the tournament so far, striking a brace against Honduras then netting the match winner against Haiti.
Klinsmann already rested seven of his starters for the Haiti match, however. So the USA should have fresh legs once the knockout round begins.
When the USA won the last CONCACAF Gold Cup in 2013, the opponent was also Panama, with Team USA winning that game 1-0.
