Even though you can solve a Rubik’s Cube in minutes with a slew of tutorials available online, there are still some ways that the classic mind puzzle can manage a few new tricks. Steven Brundag rolled out his Rubik’s Cube illusion on the premiere episode of Penn and Teller’s new season of their hit show Fool Us — and he actually managed to legitimately bamboozle the iconic pair.
Steven probably caught Penn and Teller’s attention with his previous viral video using his slight of hand to get out of a speeding ticket. With more than 2 million hits, that video showed Steven piece together a Rubik’s Cube with such precision that even the officer was stunned.
Even though his recent appearance might have upped his fee, you can even book the Rubik’s Cube master for private events.
“Specializing in stage, walk-around, and close-up performances for high-end corporate events and private parties, Steven’s adaptive show is the embodiment of modern magic — hilarious, astonishing, and consisting of new and original tricks that cannot be seen anywhere else. Watch as Steven expertly solves a Rubik’s Cube in one second, blindfolded, behind the back, and more. “
Even without the magic tricks, there’s still plenty of other impressive Rubik’s Cube masters out there. The most recent record setter managed to solve the Rubik’s Cube in just 5.25 seconds.
