Jennifer Lawrence Has Found Love, But She’s Not Pregnant

It looks like Jennifer Lawrence has finally found love, well in the movies at least, but despite circulating rumors, she’s not pregnant. In fact, the idea of her being pregnant was so ludicrous to her that she took the time to publicly mock the rumor at Comic-Con. She let the Associated Press in on a few secrets while manning the Hunger Games panel at the event.

To begin with, J-Law was just cast as the star of The Rosie Project, which is a romantic dramedy being produced by Columbia Pictures, a branch of Sony. The film will be an adaptation of the book, which is written by Graeme Simison. It’s the story of a socially awkward professor of genetics setting out with a scientific survey that’s sure to find the perfect mate. The venture leads him to Rosie Jarman (Jennifer Lawrence), who is the polar opposite of what his survey says she should be. Obviously, the two will fall hopelessly in love.

The script was written by Scott Neustadter and Michael Weber, the writers of [500] Days of Summer, and it will be produced by Matt Tolmach and Michael Costigan. However, it’s not clear who the co-star is, though rumors whisper of Chris Pratt.

Furthermore, Lawrence has put on a little weight, which has led the tabloids to blow up about possible rumors of a pregnancy. However, her response to these rumors is classic Jennifer Lawrence. She told reporters:

“Am I pregnant, too? God, no—I’m not pregnant!”

She went on to discuss her views on what the media has to say about stars like her.

“It’s funny because…I’ll always read stuff about other celebrities. Like I’ll see like something on the cover of something and be like, ‘Wow! They broke up?’ You’re like, ‘Why are they…’ and I’m like, ‘What are you doing? You know none of this is real!’ I’ll break up with somebody and move in with them in one solid week. I don’t pay any attention. I can’t. It’s so fictional. There’s no point in paying attention to it.”

With her clever humor and quick wit, Jennifer is reminding everybody just how fake the media can be as she hypes up her final installment of the Hunger Games and prepares for future roles.

While she seems to have found “love” in her first romantic dramedy, some fans may be disappointed to find out that she’s not pregnant, which means there won’t be another little Jennifer Lawrence running around Hollywood anytime soon.
