Video: Jenner Crash Captured On Surveillance As Jenner Faces Lawsuits From Four-Car Collision That Killed One

Video of the Jenner car crash prior to Bruce’s transition to Caitlyn has surfaced. The surveillance video of Jenner’s crash involving four other cars offers new insights into the hotly debated topic of who is responsible for the February tragedy that resulted in a death, reported Entertainment Tonight.

Jenner was driving a Cadillac Escalade that had a trailer containing an off-road vehicle in tow. The video shows Jenner hitting a black Prius, driven by Jessica Steindorff, and 69-year-old Kim Howe’s white Lexus. It was Howe who lost her life in the crash, and the video also indicates that she impacted with a Hummer.

The video comes from a public bus’ security cameras. The Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transit Authority subsequently turned that video over to the investigators.

“As part of a reasonable investigation, we have seen parts of an MTA bus video, and when all of the photographic and video evidence of this tragic accident, and all available witness information, is made available to us, we will be in a better position to make fair comments,” said attorney Philip Boesch, who represents Jenner.

Howe’s stepchildren, Dana Redmond and William Howe, have named Jenner in a wrongful death suit. In addition, Steindorff has named Jenner in a personal injury lawsuit.

However, authorities have not charged Jenner, who was sober according to the tests administered immediately following the crash, which the L.A. County Sheriff’s Department continues to investigate.

In their lawsuit, Dana and William charge that Jenner was “careless, reckless and negligent,” reported the New York Daily News.

“The death of Kimberly Howe caused plaintiffs to suffer enormous damages and losses [including lost] love, affection, financial support,” reads the lawsuit, which seeks more than $25,000.

The attorney for the plaintiffs clarified why they have filed the lawsuit.

“So far, no one has accepted responsibility for the collision that resulted in Ms. Howe’s death. Her children feel an obligation to bring the truth to light and seek justice for Ms. Howe. This lawsuit is the only tool at their disposal that gives them the ability to do so.”

However, although Howe’s children say that Jenner was speeding, a source revealed that Bruce was driving below the speed limit. Jenner also was neither texting nor guilty of alcohol consumption prior to getting behind the wheel, said sources.

As the Inquisitr reported, the car crash occurred at a time when Jenner was already under pressure as the news of his transition to a woman had begun to emerge.

“This couldn’t have come at a worse time for him,” said a Jenner friend. “He is in a state of shock.”
