Michelle Williams and Jason Segel’s Second PDA Tribeca Date

Michelle Williams and Jason Segel are already acting like a happy, long lasting couple. On Sunday Michelle Williams showed up at the Tribeca Film Festival to support her film Take This Waltz, also co-starring mutual friend Seth Rogen.

Although boyfriend Jason Segel didn’t walk on the red carpet with Williams, onlookers said he slipped into the back of the theater to join his girlfriend Michelle for the screening of the Sarah Polley directed film, which features a married couple overcoming the temptation of infidelity and growing apart.

After the screening was over, Jason Segel joined his gal pal at the Tribeca Film Festival and Heinkein after party, which would make their second Tribeca event as a newly minted official couple. Williams attended the premiere of Segel’s film The Five-Year Engagement on Wednesday. The two were spotted hand in hand partying it up with Segel’s friends, movie producer mogul Judd Apatow and writing partner Nick Stoller, who directed Engagement.

On Sunday Williams and Segel were spotted at Abe & Arthur’s restaurant in New York City. The couple didn’t hide their affection for each other with Williams running her fingers through Segel’s hair and giving the funny man extra hugs. The pair seemed to spend the night flirting and laughing with one another as they sipped on wine. At one point after Segel made a joke, Williams grabbed his shoulders and made him fall on top of her. After an hour of enjoying each others company, the two left in separate SUVs.

Their respective films, Williams with Take This Waltz and Segel with The Five-Year Engagement, share one thing in common–the inspection of marriage, which has brought many questions about marriage on the red carpet. Of how he would like to plan an engagement Segel joked, “My plan is to get her to marry me as quickly as possible before she finds out who I really am.”

Michelle Williams told PEOPLE how Waltz opened her eyes to the nature of relationships, “There’s many hard parts of relationships. I think that’s what the movie’s about, but I don’t know because I’ve never been married. I don’t really know what those first few years [of marriage] are like, but I hope they’re great.”
