WWE Rumor: Kevin Owens Vs. The Undertaker Taking Place At ‘WrestleMania 32’?

The Undertaker returned to his winning ways at this year’s WrestleManiawhen he defeated Bray Wyatt, however, the match against Wyatt wasn’t the match that everyone wanted to see, as Sting had finally signed with WWE late last year, and WWE fans have been dying to see Undertaker take on Sting for well over a decade, and unfortunately, it looks like we may never see that match-up unless Vince McMahon changes his mind.

So, the question now is, who will The Undertaker take on at next year’s WrestleMania 32?

John Cena has been rumored as a possible opponent for “The Phenom” over the last couple of years, and it’s a match that a lot of people would love to see, and there is a possibility that Cena ends up being The Undertaker’s retirement match opponent. Now it’s rumored that someone else could end up taking on The Undertaker at WrestleMania 32, and that someone is none other than the man that John Cena is feuding with at the moment, Kevin Owens.

Right now, WWE is very high on Owens, and he’s done nothing but deliver since his main roster call-up, and as long as he keeps doing so, WWE will have no other choice but to put him in one of the big matches at next year’s WrestleMania, and it arguably doesn’t get any bigger than The Undertaker’s match at the grandest stage of them all.

Some would argue that The Undertaker’s match at this past year’s WrestleMania didn’t have the heat that it once did due to the streak being broken, but there’s no one who can argue against the fact that The Undertaker is still a big attraction.

If Kevin Owens ends up facing The Undertaker at next year’s WrestleMania, he’ll likely be the favorite to win, as it’s been rumored for a long time now that The Undertaker will retire after WrestleMania 32. So, if WWE adds a retirement stipulation to the match, then Owens will be thought of as the guy who retired The Undertaker, which could end up making him the most hated man in WWE, even more hated than Brock Lesnar was after he ended the streak.

Of course, there are other names being tossed around as potential WrestleMania opponents for The Undertaker. One is the current WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins, who would be an excellent opponent for “The Phenom.”

We’re about nine months away from WrestleMania 32, so there’s still plenty of time for Vince McMahon to reconsider putting The Undertaker against Sting in a double retirement match at the event, but that seems extremely unlikely.
