‘Teen Mom 2’ Sneak Peek: Jeremy Calvert Files For Divorce From Leah Messer As Show Reveals She’s Taking Prescription Pills For Headaches

In a sneak peek at next week’s new episode of Teen Mom 2, Jeremy Calvert is seen announcing plans to divorce Leah Messer after two-and-a-half years of marriage. For the last several months, the reality stars have been at odds, and allegations of infidelity and drug use have continued to swirl.

“This is f**king ridiculous,” Calvert tells Messer in the sneak peek shared by Wetpaint Entertainment on July 10.

“Shut up!” Messer yells in response.

Later in the sneak peek, Messer was seen on the phone with Calvert, who informs her, “I’m filing for divorce. I’m not f**king around this time.”

As fans of Teen Mom 2 will recall, divorce rumors began swirling in October of last year, after Calvert announced on Twitter that Messer had allegedly cheated on him with ex-boyfriend Robbie Kidd. However, by January of this year, the couple was seemingly back on and posed for a number of New Year’s Eve photos. They were also seen together at a mall in West Virginia in February.

Unfortunately, as the sneak peek reveals, they eventually called it quits — and Messer’s alleged drug habit may have had something to do with it. Although the Teen Mom 2 star has denied using drugs, it was revealed during last night’s episode that she was taking prescription medications, possibly narcotic medication, to help her deal with headaches.

“Well even if you get help, Leah, I’m not changing my mind about the divorce,” Calvert said in the sneak peek.

Also in the sneak peek, Corey Simms weighed in on Messer’s alleged drug addiction, telling his ex-wife, “I know that there is a drug problem.”

As the Inquisitr previously reported, Messer and Calvert’s divorce was finalized last month. At the time, a source told Radar Online the court hearing was filmed by MTV for Teen Mom 2 Season 6.

“Jeremy attended the hearing, but Leah did not… An MTV crew was stationed outside the courthouse. The judge was angry because he found it disruptive.”

A second source told In Touch Weekly that while Messer wasn’t physically in the court room during the hearing, she did participate in the proceedings.

“Leah participated on the phone from rehab… They had an uncontested divorce. The terms, including a custody arrangement for Adalynn, were agreed upon prior to the hearing. It was all over in about 15 minutes.”
