Paris Hilton Says She And New Boyfriend Are ‘Soulmates’ After Dating Just A Few Weeks

Paris Hilton believes she and new beau, Thomas Gross, are soulmates, and it only took her a few weeks to figure it out.

The 34-year-old heiress and reality television star has only been linked to Gross for around two months, after the pair reportedly met at the Cannes Film Festival in May. But that was all the time it took for Paris to figure out that she’s smitten, as she showed on an Instagram photo posted on Wednesday.

Paris shared a picture of herself gazing into her boyfriend’s eyes, and below the picture she wrote the caption: “Soulmates.”

She and Gross would seem to have a lot in common. Both come from quite a bit of money, though Gross earned his in a bit more traditional manner.

As E! News explains.

“So, what’s there to know about Paris’ Switzerland-based beau? Thomas sold RunningBall, a company that provides live scores from soccer matches and other sports data, for a reported $150 million in 2012. Paris clearly isn’t dating Thomas for his money, though it doesn’t hurt that they’re on even ground. In addition to her licensing deals, the musician earns an average of $30,000 per hour for DJ gigs.”

In other ways, it’s an unlikely pairing. Just a month before she hooked up with Thomas Gross, Paris was telling DuJour magazine that she wasn’t in the market for a boyfriend.

“I’m doing what I want. I don’t really have time for a boyfriend,” she told the magazine.

When asked about the dating scene in Los Angeles, Paris answered, “I’d rather be single.” It’s a good thing Paris Hilton found her soulmate Thomas Gross in Cannes.

While Paris Hilton may have found her soulmate, this weekend she’s honoring the love of a close family member. Sister Nicky Hilton is marrying James Rothschild, and the nuptials have brought Paris and James to London to celebrate.

In true Hilton fashion, Nicky prepared for the wedding with a “fairy tail” bridal shower at the exclusive Hillcrest Country Club in Los Angeles. Nicky and her husband-to-be aren’t sparing any expense, and the Kensington Palace wedding isn’t the end of it. The couple also has a bridal registry that totaled close to $30,000.

E! News summarizes a bit of the list.

“Sure, there’s the usual range of bed linens and tableware, but the soon-to-be Mr. and Mrs. Rothschilds are also asking for not one, but four John Derian lamps that cost around $1,300 each. Yep, you read that right, that’s over $5,000 in just lamps.”

There is no word of when Paris Hilton and her new soulmate could be following with a trip down the aisle.
