MTV Couple At War? Leah Messer Shares Story About Widow Denying Husband’s Last Wish, Is She Dissing Jeremy Calvert?

MTV couple Leah Messer and Jeremy Calvert ended their relationship while filming the sixth season of Teen Mom 2, and tonight, fans will be reunited with the pair. Throughout the new season, Messer and Calvert will expose their issues, and rumors of infidelity, before calling it quits once and for all.

On Facebook, ahead of tonight’s big premiere, Messer shared what appeared to be a very cryptic message to fans, and possibly, to her ex-husband, Calvert, as well. In her post, Messer encouraged fans to read about a woman who denied her husband’s last wish.

“Safe to say she got the last laugh,” Messer wrote in the caption.

After following the link, fans are filled in on a story of man who requested his money be placed in his casket with him. At the end of the story, it was revealed the woman put his money in the bank, choosing to instead write a check, which she placed in his casket. While the story certainly isn’t something the MTV couple went through, the “last laugh” comment may be a hint that Messer will be redeemed on the upcoming season.

At the end of last year, the MTV couple’s relationship made headlines after Messer was accused of cheating on Calvert with her ex-boyfriend, Robbie Kidd, who later confirmed the reported affair. One month later, Calvert filed for divorce, and while the MTV couple seemed to attempt to mend the relationship months later, their divorce was finalized last month.

By all accounts, Messer seemed to be the guilty party, but judging by her Facebook comment, their could be more to the MTV couple’s story.

As the Inquisitr previously reported, Messer also seemed to call out her husband with a grim tweet on Wednesday evening.

In the clip, which was included in her message to fans, Messer was seen demanding her then-husband cut back on work, and focus on her and their 2-year-old daughter, Adalynn.

“I feel like we can trust each other, but at the same time, I want to go to therapy and stuff. I hope with your work schedule, we can make that happen. You need to put your work aside and put your family first for once.”
