Lane Garrison: I Didn’t Hurt My Girlfriend

Actor Lane Garrison claimed on Sunday afternoon that he did NOT hurt his ex-girlfriend however the actor will be forced to spend the night in jail because of a parole hold.

Following the actors arrest he was met at Beverly Hills jail by lawyer Harland Braun. According to his attorney Garrison and girlfriend Ashley Mattingly had broken up and Garrison made a bad decision when he showed up at her Beverly Hills apartment to dog sit for his acting coach who happens to live on the 3rd floor of the same building.

When leaving his acting coaches apartment Garrison says he ran into Ashley in the lobby at which point the former couple began arguing about their failed relationship. According to Braun it was Ashley who started streaming at Lane Garrison and she then threw his cell phone against the wall. According to Braun his client simply put his hands on Ashley’s shoulders and put her in a chair before leaving, causing no harm to his ex-girlfriend.

The arrest comes just 6 days from the end to Garrison’s parole. Lane spent time in jail after he drove drunk and crashed his car into a high school student, killing that student at the scene of the accident.

According to Harland his clients girlfriend knew his parole was coming to an end and she may have used that information as motivation for getting Garrison arrested. Braun claims Ashley’s injuries could have been easily self-inflicted.

If Lane Garrison is found to be in violation of his parole he could go back to jail on charges of manslaughter and domestic violence.
