Luke Ridnour Released By Raptors After Being Traded Four Times In One Week — Twitter Pounces

As the Inquisitr previously reported, guard Luke Ridnour was traded to four different NBA teams in a span of one week. Ridnour finished the 2014-15 season with the Orlando Magic before being shipped to the Memphis Grizzlies, who traded him to the Charlotte Hornets, who sent him to the Oklahoma City Thunder, who flipped him to the Toronto Raptors.

Today, the short-lived Ridnour/Toronto saga came to a close, as the Raptors officially released the 12-year veteran, according to ESPN.

Throughout the process, Luke has maintained an upbeat attitude, where he was even quoted saying this.

“To be honest, it’s been pretty funny for us. Being in the NBA, you never know what’s going to happen and coming into free agency, I knew I had a contract that was desirable for a trade chip or whatever it might be. Getting the updates daily was pretty funny.”

For his career, the former Oregon Duck has averaged 9.3 points per game, to go with 4.5 assists, and 2.3 rebounds, per Basketball Reference.
