Princess Charlotte’s Christening photos have been released by the Palace and show the adorable — and growing — royal family.
Even though we saw several snaps of little Princess Charlotte, we did not see any official portraits, such as those released after Prince George’s christening. However, similarly from what happened with their firstborn, Kate Middleton and Prince William have shared a couple of family photos with the public.
Princess Charlotte’s christening photos are of three different groups. The first is a group picture which shows Prince William, holding Prince George, the Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton, holding Princess Charlotte, and Queen Elizabeth II in the front row (left to right).
In the back row, from left to right, we see Kate’s father, Michael Middleton, her sister, Pippa Middleton, brother, James Middleton, and mother, Carole Middleton. William’s father, Prince Charles, and his wife, Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, and the Duke of Edinburgh pose to complete the portrait taken by Mario Testino.
In the second photo of Princess Charlotte’s christening, we see loving mom Kate Middleton looking at her youngest child adoringly. The Duchess of Cambridge is smiling down at the little Princess, who is curiously looking at the photographer.
Finally, we have a family photo of the Cambridges at the Sandringham Estate, where the ceremony took place. Prince William holds the third in line to the throne, Prince George — who is playing with his blonde locks — while proud mom, Kate, holds the newest member of their family, Princess Charlotte, after the christening.
But despite it being Princess Charlotte’s christening, there is no question the main attraction was her big brother, Prince George, who stole the show with his facial expressions and playful nature. As previously reported by the Inquisitr, the young royal was the focus of those gathered for his sister’s special day.
Will Kate Middleton release more photos of Princess Charlotte as she did of Prince George?
