Ariana Grande could find herself in more trouble. Just a day after the 22-year-old pop star was caught licking donuts and saying "I hate America," the donut shop owner has more to say about her debacle.
Wolfee Donuts owner Joe Marin said that Ariana Grande "licked" and "spit" on the merchandise that was out for display when his employees weren't looking. Luckily for them, the cameras caught Grande and her alleged boyfriend, Ricky Alvarez, licking the donuts. The singer was there with her backup dancer on Saturday, July 4, in California.
The video immediately went viral. The video shows Ariana's tongue reaching out and licking the donuts. The owner of the donut shop says he wasn't aware that Ariana licked the donuts until the footage came out. Even employee Mayra Solis told CBS Miami that Ariana was "completely rude" to her.
When Solis returned back with a tray of donuts, Grande asked her, "What the f**k is that?" Then she responds, "I hate Americans. I hate America."Marin said that both Grande and her backup dancer were seen licking and spitting on the donuts. Afterwards, Grande jumps up and down laughing in shock. The owner says that the donuts that were out were meant to be put away, but the employees had to take care of the customers since they're always their first priority. Marin was looking for an apology from Grande, but it looks like she may have to pay a hefty price.
Now rumors are swirling that Ariana Grande and her boyfriend could face jail time. According to a tweet, Marin has contacted the authorities, who are currently investigating this situation. Both Grande and Alvarez could serve time for cross contaminating the donuts. It was reported that the donuts that Grande licked were sold to customers.
