Jared Fogle And Subway Get More Than 1 Million Google Searches: Bestiality And Child Porn Text Messages Brought Russell Taylor Down

The news that Jared Fogle of Subway fame had his home searched by authorities on suspicion of child pornography involvement brought plenty of “Subway Jared” Twitter memes, reports the Inquisitr. The “Subway Guy” shocking news also brought plenty of searches on Google from Jared fans in shock over the news.

According to Google Hot Trends, more than one million searches came into their search engine for Fogle and related searches such as “Jared Subway, Subway Jared, Subway, Jared from Subway, Jared — and Russell Taylor” on Tuesday, July 7. The 43-year-old Taylor was the disgraced director of the Jared Foundation, begun by Fogle. Russell recently tried to kill himself and was jailed after being hit with child pornography possession and production charges.

Court records reveal a link between “Subway Jared” himself and the Jared Foundation to the child porn charges via two flash drives discovered in the home office of Russell. After the news broke about Jared’s potential link to child pornography, Subway announced that they were suspending their relationship with the man who’d been the face of Subway for years.

Even more shocking allegations follow Taylor, who was interested in bestiality and child porn, with Subway Jared firing Russell after his arrest, reports the Indianapolis Star?. Jared reported being “shocked” and stated that he was severing all ties with Taylor after a tip from an unnamed female led to Taylor’s arrest. The woman told Indiana State Police that Russell said he’d text her photos and videos of child porn — and bestiality was a concern, as well.

Cops found more than 400 child porn videos at Taylor’s home, most of the videos created in Russell’s houses. Taylor had also sent photos to an unnamed recipient of a bestiality video, involving a nude woman and a dog.

The news that Fogle — the face of Subway, worth an estimated $15 million — could potentially have any involvement in child porn sent shockwaves across the nation. Fans are used to seeing Jared’s smiling face on many a Subway store menu looming above their heads each visit.

It was Jared’s self-created diet of eating Subway sandwiches — going from eating 10,000 calories per day to around 1,000 calories per day — and walking to and from a Subway store that won legions of fans — and helped Jared lose a ton of weight and shoot Subway sales up 20 percent in the process. Jared wrote about his weight loss in Jared, the Subway Guy: Winning Through Losing: 13 Lessons for Turning Your Life Around.

“I ate a 6-inch turkey sub for lunch and a 12-inch Veggie Delite for dinner, and I had diet soda and a small bag of baked chips or pretzels with each meal. I never put cheese, mayo, or oil on my sandwiches, just mustard, and I never snacked between meals.”

While certain Jared fans believe these child porn possible connections might not make him lose everything, as reported by the Washington Post, others believe the Subway guy’s career is sunk. No charges or arrests have been made for Fogle yet.
