Rihanna ‘Switching Teams?’ Singer On Date With Melissa Forde

Rihanna was spotted out Thursday night on what she called her “first date in almost 2 yearz.”

The singer, who has run into trouble with relationships in the past (insert witty Chris Brown comment here), has sparked even more speculation that she has found a new love interest in the form of best friend Melissa Forde.

The two, who have been best pals for years, were seen out on the town Thursday night, holding hands and laughing on their date.

Other tweets the singer posted that night were:

“Beautiful is great, submissive is even better. Bawse b***h who’s submissive yet the captain of the ship n HONEST…#priceless #marryME.”

Another tweet added later in the night read, “But she bad… So maybe she won’t…. But s**t, then again maybe she will.” She also posted a photo of her and Forde with the following caption, “#datenight my lover for the night.”

Rihanna and Forde have already been the focus of speculation that the two were an item, especially after they revealed matching tattoos that say, “never a failure, always a lesson.”

Along with Chris Brown, Rihanna’s other failed relationships include singer Drake and sports star Matt Kemp. The most notorious though is Brown, who was arrested and ordered to go through anger management classes after beating the 24-year-old singer to an almost unrecognizable pulp. Brown also destroyed a dressing room before an interview after someone mentioned the incident to him.

With her rocky past relationships, it is understandable that Rihanna may be dabbling on the other side of the fence from her normal tastes. And from her tweets and pictures of her date with Melissa Forde on Thursday night, this new adventure seems to be going well.
