Kim Richards’ Ex-Husband Says She Thought Of ‘RHOBH’ As Just A Job, Is 38 Days Sober With Full Family Support
Kim Richards’ ex-husband, Monty Brinson, has spoken out about her yet again. Early Tuesday morning, Monty posted a lengthy message to his Instagram page in which he talked about Kim. He talked about how well Kim is doing. He also addressed the claim that their daughter vowed never to speak to her again, and also mentioned The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
“Regarding the tabloids with Kim is bull s..t I will only explain a few things. People make mistakes everyone of us including and if you looked in the mirror you would have to say the same. Kim checked into voluntary because she wanted to help herself, no intervention or told her too. I’m proud of her because she 38 days sober. So proud of her for doing it in her own. In the tabloids they say the children have abandoned her which is a complete lie our daughter Brooke and her other children are so proud and by her 100% as well as the regarding the last post was that since everything happen she has been offered multiple things. Its not a comeback she been a actress since she was 4. Regarding the housewives she looked at as just a job everyone else was just looking for fortune and fame…[sic]”
Kim Richards, who entered rehab in late April after being arrested in Beverly Hills, left rehab to attend her daughter Brooke Brinson’s Cabo wedding in mid-May. TMZ reported that multiple sources said that Kim was “under the influence” of something at the wedding and was “a mess.” The site also reported that Kim said nasty things to Brooke and her groom’s family, resulting in Brooke vowing never to speak to her again. Kim’s behavior was reportedly so outrageous that her sober coach immediately quit and left the country. The site further reported that Kim missed her deadline to report back to rehab.
When TMZ caught up with Kim’s sister, Kyle Richards, after the wedding, Kyle seemed to confirm that Kim didn’t return back to rehab as planned. “That’s the plan,” she replied when asked about Kim being in rehab.
Monty’s comment that Kim has been sober for 38 days seems to indicate that Kim did break her sobriety after entering rehab the first time. His comment that Kim thought of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills as just a job also seems to imply that she’s fine without it. In early June, E! News reported that Kim won’t be returning to season 6 as a starring housewife.
While Kim Richards is in rehab, her sisters Kyle Richards and Kathy Hilton are in Europe in preparation for Nicky Hilton’s London wedding on Friday. As the Inquisitr reported, it also seems that Lisa Vanderpump will attend the wedding as she has joined Kyle on vacation.
