What is unique about said statement is the fact Yook Sung Jae is currently participating in the K-variety show We Got Married, as reported by KDramaStars. For those who are unfamiliar with the show, Korean celebrities are paired up to live life as if they were married. Each week, couples have assigned missions to complete. Candid interviews are also done to show the true thoughts and feelings of the participants. Pertaining to Sung Jae, his virtual spouse on the show is Joy from K-pop group Red Velvet.

So far, Yook Sung Jae has been even-tempered, considerate, and protective of Joy. The one highlight that showcases such is when Sung Jae bought earrings for Joy not knowing her ears aren’t pierced.
