“In the last game, we played within our shells, because we had lost early wickets,” Raj said following the Fourth ODI. “The middle-order was playing under a lot of pressure. We didn’t use our footwork. Whereas today the girls were confidently stepping out and playing the spinners.”
New Zealand’s Sophie Devine — a 25-year-old two-sport star who represents her country on both the national women’s cricket and field hockey teams — has set the pace for New Zealand, tallying 165 for an average of 40.75 out of the Number Five batting slot.
