Zayn Malik Shirtless: Singer Shares Pic After Urged To Cancel Engagement [Photo]

Zayn Malik posted a shirtless photo of himself after the “Cancel Your Engagement Zayn” hashtag started trending on Twitter on Tuesday, June 7.

So, how did that that trending topic get started? According to a previous report on Cambio, fans were confused by the hashtag and then shared their support for Zayn Malik and Perrie Edwards. The fan support started outweighing the fans, who were begging Malik to cancel his engagement with the Little Mix singer.

One fan wrote: “yall so ugly this is why zany left,” referring to the remarks made about Malik’s relationship with Edwards.

Meanwhile, another fan said: “I hate Perrie & I do not ship Zerrie but you can’t trend things like this to hurt him you just have to respect it.”

A fan offered some advice: “Don’t force Zayn to stop his engagement. It’s his life. And we’re not part of it anymore. Accept it.”

Zayn and Perrie’s relationship has been questionable since the singer announced that he’s leaving One Direction. Some fans blame Perrie for Zayn’s decision to quit the successful boy band. Meanwhile, other fans think that Zayn and Perrie shouldn’t walk down the aisle, especially since the heartthrob has a history of cheating.

Prior to leaving 1D, Malik caught himself in a bit of controversy. The singer was photographed with a mystery blonde in Thailand, who reportedly turned out to be a fan named Lauren Richardson. Malik’s sighting with the woman caused some fans to wonder if the singer was cheating on Edwards once again.

Zayn allegedly cheated on Perrie with a string of women, including a One Direction groupie and an online fling.

On Tuesday morning, Zayn Malik took to Twitter to share a shirtless photo of himself after the hashtag took off worldwide. Zayn may have posted the sexy photo in response to the Twitter trend. Zayn also included the caption: “Need the sunnies today,” which could mean that he may need sunglasses to augment the shade that fans have been throwing his way.

Of course, this hasn’t been the first time that Zayn has posted a shirtless photo on social media.

Malik and Edwards have been dating since 2011, when they met on the set of the The X Factor U.K. The couple then got engaged in 2013, after Malik’s alleged cheating rumors took surface. Since then, fans have been wondering if Malik and Edwards will ever walk down the aisle.

This isn’t the first time that fans have gotten themselves involved with Zayn Malik and Perrie Edwards’ relationship. As previously reported via the Inquisitr, they suggested baby names even though they’re not expecting as of yet.
