Prince Charming Live Action Film Is Happening
Another day, another live action film announced! Now we can confirm that audiences will get a good look at Prince Charming in a live action tale. According to the Hollywood Reporter, Prince Charming will have his own story, as Disney has picked up a film that is centered around Cinderella’s leading man.
As of right now, we don’t have any idea of who will embody Prince Charming, but we have had a look at previous incarnations, including Richard Madden, who played him in the live action film, Cinderella. Prior to that we had two different looks in Into The Woods — Cinderella’s Prince was played by Chris Pine and Repunzel’s Prince was played by Billy Magnussen.
That said, this will be the first time we see Prince Charming in a film all to himself. That said, according to Variety, this is not from the point of view of the Prince, but instead it’s from his brother, who is the black sheep of the family. No word on who they will cast for the Prince’s brother, who never lived up to the “family name,” but the choices are endless.
This is another huge get for Disney, and just one in a slew of live action films that the studio is pursuing. Prior to Prince Charming, Disney has had major success with live action films such as Maleficent, Cinderella, and recently bought the Robert Downey Jr.-starring vehicle, Pinocchio.
As the Inquisitr reported, Pinocchio will star Downey Jr. as wood worker Gepetto. Up next is the upcoming live action film Beauty and the Beast, and Bob: The Musical.

@EW @Disney at least it’s not a for sure thing that it’s derived from Cinderella, he can just be an archetypal version of Prince Charming

What do you think? Are you on board for a Prince Charming movie, or do you think Disney should just leave well enough alone?
