Did Leah Messer Lose Custody Of Her Children? ‘Teen Mom 2’ Kids Spend 4th Of July With Father’s Parents

Has Leah Messer lost custody of her three daughters? After leaving rehab at the end of last month, the Teen Mom 2 star spent some time with her girls, but now, it appears she may have gotten her time reduced.

Over the weekend, Leah Messer remained silent on social media as her ex-husband Corey Simms’ father, Jeff, shared a couple of photos with her daughters, Ali and Aleeah.

“Happy Independence Day! #aligrace,” Jeff captioned a 4th of July photo, which featured both Ali and Aleeah, Leah Messer’s 5-year-old twin girls.

Although the photo of Leah Messer’s daughters wouldn’t typically be worth mentioning, the following Monday led to some controversy. In the past, Leah Messer has had weekdays with her daughter, as she was their main parent, and some weekends. However, on Monday, July 7, the twins were in the care of her ex-husband’s father, who shared the following photo.

Leah Messer married Corey Simms in 2010, after welcoming their daughters the following year. Sadly, by 2011, they had called it quits after Leah Messer admitted to cheating on Simms with her ex-boyfriend, Robbie Kidd. Months later, Messer engaged in a relationship with Jeremy Calvert, and by 2012, was expecting her third child (the pregnancy ended in miscarriage). By April of that year, Messer and Calvert wed, and in February, 2013, they welcomed their first child, Adalynn Faith.

As the Inquisitr previously reported Leah Messer’s husband, Calvert, filed for divorce in November, 2014, after two-and-a-half years of marriage, and early last month, their split was finalized, as was the custody of their daughter, Adalynn. At the time, as In Touch Weekly reported, Leah Messer was in rehab.

“Leah participated on the phone from rehab. They had an uncontested divorce. The terms, including a custody arrangement for Adalynn, were agreed upon prior to the hearing. It was all over in about 15 minutes.”

Leah Messer entered treatment in May after months of speculation regarding her possible drug use. Although the Teen Mom 2 star denies using drugs illegally, she began rehab at the end of the month, and remained there, addressing issues of “depression” and “anxiety” for 30 days.

Since Leah Messer left rehab, she has failed to share any photos of herself with her daughters, but did post photos of her daughters alone on Twitter.
